Demolition and Site Clearance


  • Demolition and removal of existing onsite structures and surfaces

Drainage


  • Installation of all new Sanitary Sewerage, Stormwater and water servicesfor the new building and carparks.

Planning and Control


  • Project was completed, within budget and within program without anymajor issues.
  • The Methodology was reviewed and approved by Naylor Love.
  • All phases of the work had to have a thorough Methodology and TaskAnalysis review and approval prior to any work starting.

High Risk Works


  • Removal of contaminated material.
  • Removal of asbestos contaminated material.
  • Class B supervisor onsite whilst asbestos removal works taking place
  • Approved asbestos bin liners install in all trucks for asbestos materialworks.
  • Correct PPE used while commencing excavation works.

  • Excavation and removal of Asbestos contaminated material for newbuilding foot print and foundations.
  • Supply of class B supervisor for asbestos works (Clear Air Ltd).
  • Supply and installation of engineered backfill for backfilling works.

Siteworks


  • Installation of basecourse for new carpark and kerbs.
  • Installation of new concrete kerbs.
  • Installation of new heavy duty road crossings.
  • Installation of exposed aggregate footpaths.
  • Installation of 4900m2 of 30mm asphalt.
  • Installation of all landscaping works.

Environmental controls


  • Multi Civil employed the use of a Dust Fighter and hand held hoses tomitigate the dust created during the demolition and asbestos soil removalworks.
  • Installation of Multi Civil Wheel wash for all truck entry and exit.
  • Multi Civil used a fully bunded diesel tank for the storage of diesel fuelduring the works.
  • Stringent consent issues had to be adhered to with regards noisy work.
  • The demolition was carried out in close vicinity to many office blocks andearly childhood day-care with any noisy works carried out prior to 9.0am and after 5.0pm Monday to Friday and on Saturdays after 7.30am.
